Spanish market to replicate Irish recovery?

On Tuesday 23 April 2013 Savills addressed its clients on European economic outlook outlining in particular the position of Ireland and Spain. The firm believes that whilst there are many similarities to suggest Spain will follow in the footsteps of Ireland, a number of substantial differences were highlighted.

According to the last Belgium market report from Savills, strong demand from domestic and international investors for well-let, prime assets is expected continue to in 2013 as prime yields remain attractive at 5.75% for shopping centres and circa 5.35% for long-leased office buildings.
