Stuttgart: Savills advises on sale of office building to family office

A Stuttgart-based company has acquired an office and high-street property on upper Königstraße in Stuttgart from a business family via an asset deal. With its central location on the city's main shopping street, the six-storey property completed in 1948 and completely refurbished and modernised in 1997 is primarily used for retail combined with offices on the upper floors. Prior to its current use, the total area of approximately 900 sq m was occupied by a Munich fashion company, which has sublet the building to a single tenant in the form of a tobacco retailer operating throughout Germany. Global real estate services provider Savills advised the purchaser during the sale process. The parties have agreed to keep the sale price confidential.
