Karsten Nemecek

Karsten has been a managing director since 2008, and deputy CEO of Savills in Germany since March 2025. In this dual capacity, he heads up our corporate, finance, capital markets, and investment teams operating throughout Germany.

Whether due diligence or sell-side projects, with over 25 years of professional experience, Karsten will provide you with expert advice when it comes to property transactions in the office, logistics/industrial, healthcare and residential sectors. His clients include both national and international investors from the private equity sector, listed companies, family offices and institutional fund managers. Karsten studied Industrial Engineering and Management at the Technical University of Berlin, followed by a degree in Finance at the Cass Business School in London. He worked for Berlin investment holding company ECONA as an associate investment manager. Afterwards, he moved to the corporate finance property division of leading auditing and consulting firm PricewaterhouseCoopers as a senior manager.

Committed to professional and ethical standards in the investment sector he has also been appointed a chartered financial analyst charterholder by the global professional association CFA Institute and has been a member there since 2005. Karsten can advise and support you in transactions and portfolio investments.
